Helping others get safe drinking water

Note: A number of these are Christian in motivation. The Christian faith compels service to others, showing mercy, etc. (as instructed by Jesus Christ and the prophets in Judeo-Christian scripture). Islam likewise compels the believer to service and deeds of mercy, and this impulse is echoed in other religious traditions. If an overtly Christian (or faith-based) emphasis bothers you, focus on the secular choices or find opportunities aligned with your religious preference (suggestion: Google "your religion of choice" plus "water relief", which brings up a variety of options). To our knowledge, the below mentioned charities are legitimate and do what they say. Please tell us if otherwise.
